1In the beginning was Nature, and Nature was in God, and God was in Nature, and God was Nature. 2It was with God in the beginning. 3Through it, all things have come to be; without it nothing has come to be that has come to be. 4In it was Life, and that Life was the light of all things. 5The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
